Understanding food-related issues for link workers training course evaluation publsihed

Meaningful Measures has delivered an evaluation of an innovative training course designed to support social prescribing link workers' understanding of food related issues. 

The training was funded by The AIM Foundation and the courses were delivered by the College of Medicine and the Social Prescribing Network between November 2021 and June 2022. The course covered information on different food issues that social prescribing clients present with. It also included case study work to let link workers explore different hypothetical scenarios with their peers. 

The evaluation found that the courses were extremely successful with the results demonstrating a large increase in confidence in knowledge of food related issues for those taking part.
